This handbag was designed to represent sea kelp on the sea shelf growing upward towards the sunlight. Yingpan progresses from using a single crochet needle to four knitting needles as the work moves into more complex stages of development.

The dark green “Seaweed Kelp Bag” measures 12 inches from the top by 13 inches across the pouch and the two thick ¾ cord grip handles extend 5 inches above the top of the bag. Opening of the bag is latched closed by 2 magnet metal disk with ball and socket. At the ends of pouch just below the handles are 4 bell shaped tassels, two each at opposite ends of the pouch to further insure closer.
